JQuery Bootstrap: Better than Sliced Bread

Sunday, February 3rd, 2013

This weekend, I learned a lot about life. I learned about GRAILS’ native security plugin, I learned about how Netbeans is just like pre-Windows XP (just reinstall when it stops working!), but most importantly, I learned about a really awesome JQuery plugin called Bootstrap.

The website describes it as a “Sleek, intuitive, and powerful front-end framework for faster and easier web development.” And my oh my, is it ever! To put this in perspective, I spent the greater part of yesterday simply battling CSS and handling multiple resolutions when all I had to do was include this framework in my project and BLAMMO, insta-kill.

I’ve given up on the project, but I’ve considered it a lesson learned: use Bootstrap! You won’t regret it!
